real simple question

i am taking the x-pipe off of my stang to do a t-5 swap. When i got under there i unplugged the o2 sensors from the harness and figured they'd come out witht the xpipe. well... the passenger side sensor is blocking the last nut on the exhaust flange.... do i need to buy an o2 sensor wrench to take the sensor off or is there another way? none of my wrenches, ratchets, swivels seem to do the trick. I am a Newb so please bare with me.
Thanks guys.

you shoulod be able to use an open-end wrench. I dont remember the size though. I also know what you mean about the sensor blocking the nut, you can get around it with some time though.

thanks for the suggestion. but i'm probably going to go get an O2 sensor socket. Man that sensor is a mess of frustration. Thanks tho.

one way is to disconnect the o2 sensor wire harness and take the box end of the wrence(the correct size) and slip it over the wire to the o2 sensor and use that, thats what I did and had no problems. Hope this helps you

A 7/8 wrench should fit. You can also try an adjustable wrench; maybe a neighbor has one.

use some penatrating oil first. It will be easier to get out. And use anti-sieze when reinstalling.
