![]() Under my 68 coupe (302), I see what remains of the original rear axle vent hose (half the hose, held by a clamp to the underbody). I know I don't have the original rear-end and believe it's an 8-inch. Where I believe the original vent hose went on the original axle, there's like a cap on it. Do I need to remove the cap and install a rear axle vent hose like the original axle had?
