Default rear drum brake spring death

howdy.

the problem is that my rear brakes act as if they are engaged about half way constantly.

i first thought about the emergency brake cable / shifter thingy being too tight, but after a teardown, that is a negitive. i took the drums off and looked at the guts of the drum. all the springs are rusted into one solid piece of steal.

i am looking for a rebuild kit. i found this brake rebuild kit but it is for GM and i don't know if it will fit. the drum looks damn close to all the other drums i have seen, i am just looking for a second opinion.

A GM hardware kit won't work on a Ford product. Go to your local parts store, they should have them in stock for most applications.
