Default Rear end noise when turning.

Everytime i turn to the left i hear this rattle noise in the rear wheels. Sounds like the right rear wheel. I took it to the mech and he said i needed a new differantial. You guys think thats the problem? Also, since it might be true, whats a good posi differential? I heard of one 'A' something...Auburn?.. like $400...

also, when i hit about 2k rpm, i hear a vibrating noise that sounds like its coming from the speakers.... might i have bad speaaker wire? or ..???

thnks for any input...
