Rear end S\N, what does it mean?

The serial number on my rear end was this:

A271F
L08 A75 4K03

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Best I can tell, it was built November 3rd, 1984, it's a 3.08:1 Trac-Loc, 7.5" ring gear. Look on the VC label inside the drivers door jamb. If you do have 3.08 trac-loc, it will say "Z" under Axle in the lower right section of the label.

Take care,
-Chris

Thanks. I watched the driveshaft and had my brother give the tire a full turn. The driveshaft had a little over 3 full turns. I had always thought it was a 2.73 but i guess i was wrong. I'd check the door jam but the nothing on the sticker is legible. Thanks for the help.
