Rear sway bar

Is it ok to disconnect a rear sway bar. Mine is banging around when I hit bumps, and don't have the money to buy a new one right now. Let me know. Thanks

I think if you remove that sway bar you are going to have a lot of "oversteer".
I might be wrong but I "think" that's what will happen.

Why is it banging around? Is it missing bolts? There is no other reason it would bang around unless it was broken, which I doubt.
You can remove it, but the handling will probably feel sloppier.
Most earlier 4 cylinder stangs did not come with them.

You can take it out. It will drive a little diferent, it won't hook as easy, and other little problems like that. Just put one back on when you can afford it. And I have seen broken ones before.

Yea u can take it out it will handle bad but i did it for a day when i painted it and if it is not broke it, you just tighten up the bolts real good, mine banged around so i did that and it was fine.
