I have a 66 coupe and want to put a 9" in it. Will a 67 coupe 9" work? If not what cars are good donar cars to look for? What are the measurements for a 9" that will fit?

The 65-66 uses a 57.25 diff. Factory ones the same width are the 57-59 rancheros and station wagons. The later mustangs till 70 were 2' wider. The 1977-1981 Versailles rears are 58.5. pretty close, but might give you grief. Hope this helps.

If you got the cash go with a custom built one by Currie Ent. I bought a 9" with Willwood Brakes, 3.73s, Detroit Tru-Trac, etc. Rated at 750HP.
