Default water pump replacement

How hard is it to replace a water pump on an EFI 5.0l H.O. on a 86 Stang GT? Thanks

Not too hard - just time consuming getting everything off to get at water pump. Take it real easy with taking the old bolts out - they could be a little tight and rusty - you don't want one to snap... than job gets much harder.

Are you putting on a high-flow waterpump like Stewart?

it's easy and can be done in under an hour (i've done it in under 15mins) just be careful removing the long bolts that pass through the timing cover into the block they are bad about rusting and snapping off and it's a pain in the *** to fix. I learned the hard way several years ago.
