Ya, don't use those gaskets at the front and rear of the manifold. I had one pop out on me before. Use high temp silicone. Squeeze a real thick bead along the front and back of the block where the manifold sits. Let it sit for a little while to get tacky before setting the manifold on.

You'll need to find TDC on #1 to put the distributor back in. Then it's a matter of adjusting the valves. Plenty of info on the web on how to adjust valves. It sounds scarier than it is. Good luck!
