remaining years

My 93' currently has about 116,000 on a almost completly modified engine with a new transmission, replaced rear end gears and new lowering springs & shocks. My question is, about how long can the car last before it needs a serious overhaul or replacing? I only put about 6,000 miles a year on the car, my daily driver is a 94' ranger truck. Any comments would be helpful.

as long as you keep it in good tune (ie air and fuel filters, plugs, cap and rotor....) then it could go plenty more miles, theres alot of stangs out there that have been well kept with well over 200,000 miles on the clock. Then again, theres alot of them with 100,000 burning oil like no other. Its just all in how you treat it.

Its got plenty of life left in it, unless you want to get serious about racing it. Then you might wanna think about a rebuilt shortblock.

hope this helps,
-Drew
