![]() Ok, I've decided to remove my a/c and move my p/s pump up. I have the condensor out and the compressor out. The only thing that's left is the hose that goes from the compressor around the intake and to the canister on the firewall.
How do I remove this hose from the canister?? Does the line seperate like a fuel line? What has everyone done with this hose?? How in the heck do I get it out?!?

![]() There is a special tool to seperate those lines. You can rent one at Auto Zone for a few bucks. I forget the name of that tool but I'm sure someone at auto zonw knows or someone here knows.
I hope this helps.

![]() I used the fuel line tools. They were a couple plastic rings, I got them at autozone for under 10 bucks. Even with that, those lines are usually stuck together pretty well

![]() Before you do anything, spray the line fittings with liquid wrench and blow the dirt out of the hubs a couple of times. There's a inner circumfrence spring in there that won't spread if it's got dirt granuals inside of it...which it does. Saves alot of frustration

![]() Just remove the compressor, and the thing on the fire wall. If you have decided to get rid of the ac, do it all. Short belt, less weight, mo fasta.

![]() Thanks guys! I already have the fuel line tools from when I put my injectors in. I was trying to see if that a/c line was the same as the fuel lines but there is so much dirt and gunk inside by the spring, I couldn't really tell...A little liquid wrench and I should be good to go. Thanks again!
88workcar: I'm not running a short belt due to the supercharger...I'm just trying to make up for all the weight the supercharger added...next to go may be the smog pump ![]()
