Removing Fuel Rails?? NEED HELP ASAP
 
I am removing my intake manifold on my 88 5.0 mustang. And i dont know how to disconnect the fuel rails? I got em off the injectors, but i cant get the fuel rails out of the way. How do i get em outta the way? PLEASE HELP. I need my mustang up and running this weekend! THANKS A LOT!

Go to autozone and buy the fuel rail take off clamps there $9.99
The red and blues ones are the ones you need, those work the best ive found out. They look like little pac-man shapes lol.

They do make disconnects, but you should be able to move them out of the way. There is a bracket they are bolted to.....do you undo that?

Yes, unbolt the bracket that holds on the fuel rail...only after you disconnect the round spring connectors that require the special tool.

OK, thanks a lot. they are all unbolted just still connected together. I want them out of the way completely, so i will go to Autozone in the morning i guess. Thanks!
