Default removing vents

Okay, call me retarded. I can't figure out how to get the vents out of my 89GT. The center ones above the control knobs. Is it screwed in place somewhere hidden? That aggravating MF will not budge at all. I would like to install my oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge tonight if i can. Thanks.

Default

after breaking all the little plastic pieces in it, I got the bastard out. Now my question is what do you guys usually do to install oil and water temp guages? Do you drill a hole in the firewall, or is there an existing hole that I am missing? Thanks.

Smile no drilling needed

There is a hole with alot of stuff coming through the firewall on the drivers side. I ran 1/4' braided line for my fuel gauge, boost gauge, and misc wires. It looks full but more can be pushed through.
