My '67 Coup has factory air. I am about to replace the a/c compressor and while I'm doing that I will of course switch over to 134. I realize that I will need to replace the dryer. Is there anything else I need to do? Any pitfalls I should be aware of? Thanx E.

Flush the complete system, replace any seals and gaskets, refill with proper oil and quanity. If the old hoses are dry and cracked, you should consider replacing them too.
