Post Car Squatting Hard at Driver's Side Rear Tire...

Its squatting hard in the driver rear tire and I'm not talking about when I press the gas. lol... Anyways, the scenario pretty much goes like this. The guy before me had a huge *** stereo box in the back of the car. It took up the WHOLE hatch area, it was some kind of "security feature"... Well when I bought the car from him it ALSO had about a 40-50lb tow bar on it. Can we say huge strain on the rear suspension? Anyways I removed it the second I got home and built a lightweight box for my new speakers and the car didn't raise up a whole lot. Do you guys think its just the shock? or maybe the shock and the spring? Or maybe the bushings? If its the shock what should I go with to replace it and should I replace both the rears? I've been kinda thinking maybe I'll just throw some decent gas shocks on all 4 corners and call Steeda up for some springs... Any info would be great guys, thanks.

My car sits the same way also. I once saw a part that someone was making to fix this problem, but I can't remember where it was. It was something you locked under the driver's side rear spring and it raised it back up by rotating the spring.

Globalwest has the fix for the rear sag problem. They also sell allot of other cool stuff. I have a traklink from them, and I think the thing is the best on the market.

Cool

As far as rear suspension, i have the BBK springs, BBK upper and lower control arms and lakewood Drag shocks 50/50 in the rear. It never saged before until a month ago, but I had also been driving it as a daily driver with those shacks which they aren't made for, but pulled them out and took them to my local performance shop and had them looked at. Sure enough he said the driver side one had went out. My new ones will be in this week and I will let you know if this fixed the prob. I ordered the same drag Shocks go figure, I didn't learn my lesson. But am trailoring the car in Oct anyway, so what the hell !!!

I had my car checked yesterday and they said I needed springs, they tried to sell me on some factory replacement BS so I told him I might be back and then promptly went home to order my Steeda Sport Springs. Only bad thing is that shop won't install aftermarket so I'm having my friends shop do it.
