![]() I ran my car on a Land and Sea dyno today. The operator assured me that he put in the same correction factors to my numbers would jive fairly well with my Mustang Dyno results.
Previously I pulled 270 rwhp @ 5000 rpm and 305? lbs of torque @ 4700 rpm with the ported GT-40. Now add the Systemax intake and my numbers today: 285 rwhp at 5500 rpm and 325 lbs of torque @ 4900 rpm. I did not do any wide band tuning due to time constraints. I was more concerned with the gains of the new intake. Now add the Diablo off the shelf "custom" chip. NO GAIN AT ALL!! The numbers were exactly the same. The only benefit from the chip was that throttle response was better. To say the least, I am still a bit disappointed. I would hope for 300 rwhp pretty easily with my combo. 302 Mild port on TFS TW heads Systemax intake 65 mm t.b. 24 lb'ers w/C&L 73 E-303/1.72's Equal shorty headers No power steering Moroso electric water pump drive Panel K&N Any advice?
