Post Speedo gear needed?

I'm replacing my stock rear end with 3.55 gears. Do I need to replace the speedo gear also??

Yep.

Do you have a T-5? If so, I believe you will need a 23 tooth speedo-gear.

He is wrong. 23 is for a 3.73. what year and trany do you have and Tires on the back do you have?

I've got an '88 GT conv. with a stock T-5. The rear tires are 225/55r16. How hard are these speedo gears to track down ??

You need A 19 TEETH THE PART ### codz-17271-b it will be pink. go to any ford dealer it is about $5 or so. that is the right one for you.
