Rim Question?

I just got a mustang, 88gt, will the rims from a 93 fit my car, I found a set at the local salvage yard and since I am new to mustangs I thought I would ask.
Thanks

if your 88 has stock wheels (turbines) they will have the 4x4.25 bolt pattern, this is exactly the same as the 93, and the 93 pony wheels look 100 times better IMHO, they will fit fine

------------------
88 Notch, B&M Ripper, 3.73's, Ported E7's, Explorer int. w/ ported lower, pulleys, 1.7RR's, BBK headers, off-road H-pipe, flowmasters, subframes, 65mm TB, March ram air ,MSD coil, U/L control arms, 155lph f/p, Crane Adj.FPR, Nitto drag radials, best 1/4--> 13.76@101.4 on a 2.17 60ft

They'll fit great. I'd pick them up quick if I were you, to find them in a junk yard is rare (at least in these parts).

Hi KG88,

Just to remind you that the '93 rims will be 16" diameter so you will need the rubber to go with them as well. Also, when Ford went to the pony rims they changed the fender extensions on the front, so the pony rims may rub slightly when the whhel is cranked all the way to one side.

Good Luck
Brad

I have a 90 LX and it's lowered. When I had the Pony rims on it they didn't rub at all. Go for it!
