Roll Bar for Big/Tall?
 

I am not a huge Richard Simmons type man, but I am a big guy. About 6' and 250 lbs. I need a bar for my 88 GT, but I am worried about fit. I have sat in a few cars with pre-fab bars, and don't fit very well. One dug into my side... etc. Is there a company that makes a well made roll bar that would fit me? Thanks! Trying to avoid the cost of custom... but that might be what I have to do.

I can relate. I'm 6'7" 310lbs and cant' find anything that'll work for me. If you find out, I'd love to hear the details about a cage.

I did my own cage...
...but I also just welded in an Autopower in a 2000 Cobra for someone. I like that bar in that it was curved behind seats, to allow lots of driver leg-length. Granted it was only a 4-point, but you could add on some front supports fairly easily.
Too bad I never took pictures. Will have to get some at the next opentrack event WE will both be attending.
