Roller rocker question
As you can see by my sig. I'm not too heavily modified yet.I'm thinking about installing 1.7 ratio roller rockers. Is this a good mod. at this point or should I just use the money and install a NOS system. Thanks in advance. ------------------ '95 GT AOD w/ 4.10 gears off road H pipe K&N air filter and underdrive pullies. |

They're decent mods, but you're talking two very different kinds of power (RR's vs. saving for n2o). Rocker arms are worth an average of about 10hp...but little things add up. And the extra 10hp will always be there. Nitrous adds as much power as your engine can take but it's pretty much all or nothing. Around town your car will be just another 5.0L. Using it's special talents will require fliping a switch and standing on the gas. If it were me, I'd save for the nitrous kit.
