Rookie with a passion
Looking to make my new 65 faster than the one I had in high school . Recently purchased this one , has a 289 4v 4 speed . Car is wicked solid !! I do not intend to keep it stock , but my bank roll is kind of limited . Someone already put new edlebrock intake on it . I have'nt really got the chance yet to really drive it. It needed brakes . Just had that done . Now looking to put new exhaust on it . Need help here ! Any tips on exhaust ideas would be great , along with any other neat tricks I could do which would help this project get up and go !!

You might consider some JBA equal lenght shorty headers, thru a 2 or 2 1/2 inch exhaust using the Dr. Gas "X" pipe setup. K&N air filter. Do remember more air might need a slight carb adjust. This will add around 12 to 20 HP.
