I like the TFS intake, i plan to get one in the near future, if you are going to be running those edelbrock heads, you will likely have to port match the heads to the intake though.
are you getting the "street heat" or the "track heat"? ------------------ 1988 Mustang GT, T-5 3.08's, No Smog Pump (Shorty Belt), Dumps At The End Of Stock H-Pipe, K&N Air Filter (Stock Air Box), Removed air silendcer), 198.9 rwhp @4200 (235 Motor!!), 285 lbs-ft @2900 (336 Motor!!!). Had the street heat version. Awsome torque down low but it was insufficient in the upper rpm's. Ran that with my t-5Z and 65mm TB in addition to my current combo and pulled a 12.9@107.5 with a 1.98 60' on street tires without speed shifting. Opted to go with an RPM intake because it would pull better in the upper rpm's and since its a 5 speed, I can afford to lose the torque down low. I would go with a RPM if you can afford it...it would match your heads better also. Just my opinion.

I think that's it. GO ILLINI!!! Waiting for good weather for new times. |

I ordered the TFS "street heat" intake. I'm no mechanic - is it a lot of trouble to port match? Expensive? What if you don't do it? Thanks for your answers.
