Cool S-Trim: How loud is it on the highway?

Well, as the time grows closer and closer to purchasing my blower, I was wondering how loud they are on the highway, or city driving around 30-50mph, or on the interstate at 65 or 70mph?? I know they have a mean sounding whine @ idle...but are they obnoxious on the highway? josh

Hey Josh,

From inside, I don't think the noise is that noticeable if you're moving.

My s-trim is really loud at idle, louder than most I have heared. But like said above once you come off idle it doesn't make any noise.

Quite as can be when you are driving...unless you are rolling. I know up to like 1400 or so mine gets louder and louder, then it tapers off

I don't even notice mine cruising on the highway. At idle the gear noise is quite loud but as soon as rpms come up at all it goes away. Soon as you feel the power under boost all noise will be forgiven!!

I can't even hear mine at highway speeds. All I hear is that pretty drone from the pipes. But around 1400-2200 it gets pretty loud. All in all it's a nice turbine sound to be heard.
