Saleen V. GT engine

Which is a better engine? A Saleen 93' stock or a 93' GT/LX stock? What are the difference between the two? Must you use a Saleen computer for it to work properly? Or will it work the same with a regular mustang or crown vic computer? My friend has a Saleen engine laying around and I can pick it up at a pretty reasonable price. I just wanted to make sure it was worth paying a little extra over another 5.0. The engine only has 30,000 miles on it.

The engine itself is the same. Only 30,000 miles though is very good. Most of the difference between the Saleen and the GT are cosmetic and suspension.
