Pressure plate bolts
I need new pressure plate bolts. Somehow my factory ones managed to get mangled beyond reuse when removing them.
I purchased a set of ARP 150-2201 pressure plate bolts and they ARE NOT the correct size. They are 5/16-18. I am pretty sure the factory bolts are metric. What is the correct size for the factory pressure plate bolts? My car has been sitting on jackstands because of this stupid crap since Friday. Being that this is my only car I really need to get this done now. With the correct size I can go down to the fastener store and get the correct bolts. Thanks, Eric |

Yes, they are metric, but they are far too important to just pick up at the hardware store. Go to Ford on Monday, and ask for part number N602549-S51M. It really sucks when a clutch disk cuts your feet off. A buddy of mine can tell you all about it.
Take care, ~Chris
