![]() Saturday I grenaded the tranny in my coupe. Yesterday I was swapping the tranny, and I ran into an interesting question. My old tranny was an 89 tranny, and it has a sensor on top that goes into the houseing, but there is nothing on the inside of the casing!!! It's a push-activated sensor like the reverse lights, but there is nothing to push it. Anyway, the tranny I got out of a 90 didn't have the sensor, just the reverse light one on the side. Anybody know what that useless sensor is for?
