Default What size belt for bypassed p/s??and race with wrx

Anyone remember the thread with the mearsurement? I need to bypass my p/s, and i already bypassed the smogpump with an 84.? belt, if anyone knows this right off hand, help me out.

I have a race with a wrx subaru at the track tommorrow, the guy was going 13.6's pretty stock, and he modded it and went 13.2 @ 101, he had to remove some mods since he had dealer work done, he said it will be in stock form, at least nothing major on the boost, i believe him to a certain extent, listen up guys, this guy talks smack, and has beat a heads and cam mustang on the street, and talks smack? i cant let a 4 banger smoke me? i figure with the short belt, a good burnout on the sport pros, hard launch, I can maintain a 13.55 or so, and keep him at bay.

You should use the 70.5" short belt this will bypass the smog pump and power steering. You should gain 2 tenths decrease in ET and 1.5mph increasein trap speed on 1/4mile as tested on a 90 5.0 5spd with slicks. good luck hope this works.

nope nope, nope, the 70.5 does not fit, actually it sets on the end of the tensioner, and still works, but wobbles, it's just a tad loose, im going back up to autozone, should have just done it in the parking lot. thnx anyway, im gonna try a 70.0 or .3
