get a small screwdriver and pop up each corner of the black panel one at a time,(easier and safer than pulling the whole thing up) once that is up you will have to unsrcrew the shifter knob and the boot/panel can come off, then theres a rubber insulation piece with a metal holddown you have to unscrew and take out, then you can get to the shifter, take the 4 bolts out, it most likely will be stuck on there really good, you'll have to pry it up because there's sealant on the underside of the shifter,
about the back 2 bolts, you may want to get a pair of sidecuts and "modify" your console in the area that you wont see when you put it back together, make 2 cutouts in the plastic so you can get a ratchet extension in there, you could also follow the directions that come with the shifter
