Default short belt

I'm trying to run a short belt to bypass the airconditioning. I bought a 850K5 belt and it squeaks like hell when I crank it and give it some throttle. Is anyone out there running this type of setup who would know whats going on. I think it might be the way I have to put the tensioner in. I have to run the belt through it instead of over the top of it, so I cant get any tension on it. The belt is fairly tight though without tension. Is the belt wide enough, too short, or do I have the tensioner on the wrong way? Can someone please help me!

Default slipping

You need tension on your belt. That's most likely your problem. Your belt is slipping.

The problem with bypassing the AC is that you can't route a belt properly. You either need to move the power steering pump up higher or get a AC delete pulley kit.
