I just got a c-4 transmission and it has been sitting out in the weather in a mustang with no motor and no converter attached.
The guy I got it from said that it was rebuilt about 3 to 4 years ago and he put about 500 miles on it.
I got the thing for free and he said he recommends refreshening it.
It has some rust on the input shaft.
The c-4 has an H servo and a reverse manual valve body.
Do you think after sitting so long that it would be all right to run or do you think I should rebuild it and why?
The guy that built it the first time said he will do it for $300.00, is that a good price?
The torque converter I have is a TCI street fighter. Is this a good converter?
