The rule is to only go +- an inch of the rim. Like if you have 7 inch rims, run an 8 inch slick. But I put some Hoosier 9 inch slicks on my 15x7 stock rims and they worked find, but the 9 inch slick was like 1/2mm from my quad shock. If I would've went with a 10.5 inch slick it would be way to big. I don't know about your car? If it was me, I WOULD NOT put a 10.5 inch slick on a 7 inch rim. I personally think 10.5 is WAY to big for a 7 inch rim.
