hmm...metal sleeve I guess that goes with the firewall adjuster, that is the only thing I currently do not have.
The quadrant goes in fairly easy, first disconnect the cable from underneath at the clutch fork(remove cover on bell housing to get to the cable end), you will also need to remove the clip that holds the cable to the bell housing, then take the bolt off the monting bracket that is on the frame and then climb under the dash and pull the cable off of the stock quadrant. Then take out the small screw that holds the rubber bushing into the firewall and the cable should come right out.
If you have the stock plastic quadrant it may break on removal, don't worry about it. Replace the quadrant with the new UPR piece, (I like to put a small amount of lithium grease in the radiused slot that the cable rides in first) with my setup I use the slot closest to the driver. The new cable goes in very easy you will need to feed it through the hole in the bell housing, re attach with the clip and then feed the threaded end through the fork and put the larger radiused end nut on, round part towards the fork, then at the end when you get it all adjusted you will screw on the jam nut (13mm), this keeps the adjustment nut from backing out.
Any more questions drop me a e-mail..

Sorry I can't help you with the firewall adjuster, but if you call UPR they should be able to tell you or fax you directions, I would think the Steeda unit would go on the same way.
Ok I just read the above comment about the sleeve and on my car the quadrant went right back up in the stock locating point and I re-used the cotter pin to attach it.
