From what I see/read in the users rides section, your car seems like it fits in the 12-14 sec. daily driver segment. As such, unless you have intentions of turning your car into an 11 second (500+ hp) or quicker weekend warrior, I see no reason to shell out the $2,500 + for a full- boogie Lentech AOD.

In 500+ hp applications, I always suggest going with a built automatic because of its reliability and consistency over the T5 at these power levels.

In your case, I'd say choose whichever one is going to make you the most happy while driving the car.

FYI, I know that an AOD-to-T5 conversion is going to require some "extra stuff" such as clutch, shifter, and so on. Lentech makes an AOD capable of handling up to 450hp. I think the price is fairly resonable too. This is, IMHO, the easiest option since you simply remove the one AOD and install the Lentech.
