OK I run a 2 step with a winder switch by MSD. Although my car may not launch as high as yours. I have my winders switch set at 3K on the bottom (turns on the N2O) and 6K when it shuts it off. My 2 step is set anywhere between 1.8K and 2.1K (depends on starting line conditions). I have my shift light set at 5.8K. I have on occasions had the shift hit 6K on my shifts and shuting off the N2O for a second and it rehits after the shift. I put a 6.2K top side of the winder switch to shut off the N2O a little higher. the chips as like most things there is a marging for error. I also have a problem is that I want the N2O to come on faster to help my dismal 60' times. I plan on resetting my window switch to hit between 2.8 and 2.5 that will be done the next time I go out for a test and tune. For your application you may want to put a micro switch on hte clutch pedal (added in series) with your WOT switch so it will activate when you release the clutch pedal or you will only have N2O hit above 5.6K launch RPM. Good luck in your application.
