I want to get rid of the P/S, too, though.
I think I'm just going to buy the '94-'95 A/C eliminator kit and hope that it fits on my '90 5.0. I saw an '82 GT in the most recent issue of 5.0 & Super Fords that has what appears to be the SN95 (5.0) a/c eliminator kit. This is what I *suspect* Wes is running in his 1990.
My defense mechanisms have allowed me to rationalize the following:
The '94-'95 5.0 eliminator kit is different from the Fox body a/c eliminator kit because of the lower hood clearance witht he SN95 body style. I *guess* that the P/S pump would interfere with the hood if it were relocated upward in the SN95, like it would be in the Fox body. I'm hoping there were no sneaky changes made to the '94-'95 5.0 motor that would keep their kit from bolting to an earlier 5.0.
How does that sound?
