OK here I go . In neutral if I punch it , it raps right up, in gear if I punch it , It dogs down and wont even roll the tires. Heres the specs. It has a 1987 302 roller cam block with TRW forged pistons, ported & polished heads, aluminum edelbrock performer intake, 600 cfm Holley carb, MSD distributor, Crane fireball coil, Crane HI-6 ignition box, shorty headers, offroad H-pipe, 2 1/2" Flowmaster Dual exhaust, B&M shift kit in a automatic overdrive trans, 3.73 rearend gear. I just bought the car so I dont know what cam is in it. So when it came time to set the timing I did it by sound and how it started and lots of test drives. (cause my gun is on the fritz) The accelerator pump was in the carb and it was suggested to me to try that first so I did and that did nothing. It was a stock replacement from holley (black). Ok I just went out and looked at a very slight touch it is squirting fuel. I dont know what you mean with the screw? I hope this helps anything you can think of would be great...
