i had 4.10's in my 89lx (which i have since sold for a newer 95gt) i also had a tremec 3550 trans. whatever you do do not get 4.10's if you have a tremec. with the different first gear in the trans, you could pop the clutch at idle and the car would launch perfect, first gear was pointless, when i would race i would start out in second gear. i would go with 3.55's with the tremec, one plus side to the trans was the over drive gear being different, dropped about 750-1000 rpm on the highway.
