I just installed a 31"X19" Griffin universal NASCAR radiator in my 89 LX.

I was able to use the stock fan and shroud without too much trouble. The fan is closer to the rad, but not too far, I dropped the shroud in with the fan/clutch off, then put the fan on and found where to mount the shroud.

I used two HEAVY zip ties at the top, and radiator shroud clips from the "Help!" line of stuff at the autoparts store.

My biggest issue was the line from the overflow running into the lower radiator hose.
