Have had this problem before. My problem was my balancer had alot of miles on it so the seal had worn a groove on it this groove dosent look like much to be worried about but its enough.Their are two ways to fix this problem A:Buy a new balancer this will obvously fix the groove thing AND if your balencer has alot of miles and your seal is leaking chances are your balancer is shot anyway due to oil soaking of the rubber in between the two pieces.B:Or you can what is called a block saver (I think)which is a thin metal sleeve that slides over the seal part of the balancer shaft and also eliminates the groove. With ether solution i would change the front seal again AND put grease one the seal because if you dont the first couple reveloutions will burn up your seal sometimes. The new balancer can be found anywhere from auto zone to summit or other parts catalogs. If you want to spend the money fluidamper sells a great damper but its$350-$385.The "block saver" can be perchased at your local auto parts store for about$6.Hope this helps.
