Question ACT Sensor

My friend bought an expolyer upper and lower intake. We drilled and tapped the EGR coolant hole. The material is too thin (2mm) to drill and tap the ACT sensor. We thought about having it welded but that may look pooppy. I heard somewhere you could relocate it. But Where??
