well there were a few things to consider when i decided to get rid of mine.
Pro's:
1. About 30lbs off of the front end of the car
2. No more ugly compressor, lines, condenser, or evaporator to look at or get in the way of working on it.
3. One less thing for the belt to turn, although it was a very slight drag.
4. AC was only used on EXTREMELY hot days, maybe 3-4 days a year
5. More air through the radiator, since the condensor is gone
Cons:
1. No more cold AC
As you can see, in my case, the pro's outweigh the cons. If you use the AC alot then its not worth deleting, but it was for me.
