I had my mind made up I was going to get a PMS till I did some research and found out that the TwEECer RT does more for a lot less. Yes, it is not something that will be just plug and play and it does have a steep learning curve (I am still low on that curve) but it allows you to go in and change pretty much anything the computer controls and it data logs too! Check out these links: http://tweecer.oplnk.net/ http://www.tweecer.com/

I am getting ready to purchase a wideband to hook-up and data log to my TwEECer. With this setup I won't need the dyno for anything but bragging rights.
There are other units out there and some of them may be easier to use (the TwEECer is pretty new and it will get better as time passes, Mike Glover the owner of the company is always working on improvements and new features for it...) but I don't think any of them will do as much for the money. The more mods you have the more you will gain from something like this. Check out this guys gains:

"I went and got the car dynoed again today after installing the 83# injectors. I knew beforehand that the car was running pretty crappily, and took that into account when tuning. The first pass was a crappy 499.3/492.4 with the A/F ratio going less than 10:1 at 4600. A few pulls later with help from my trusty tweecer yielded 612 rwhp @ 6150 and 526.9 rwtq @ 6100 rpm."

That is on one of the links I posted above.

Good luck with whatever you decide!
