HELP W/SPEEDO
Hey guys,
I have a 88' GT which has an 85 MPH speedo.
I want to convert to the 140 MPH unit, I think Ford put these in all 5.0's starting in 89'? Anyway I want to install the 140 MPH white face guage kit, but I don't know exactly what parts I need to change to do this. The only guy who knows anything at my local Ford dealer says I need the whole "head unit" from a 140 MPH equiped Stang (he did'nt seem interested in helping me so I did'nt ask much else).I figure I should'nd need to switch out the whole guage cluster?
I have 3.73's in the rear and already have the proper drive gear (or is that driven gear?)
At any rate could some of you Gurus help me out please?
