I'm also doing a swap project. I would get that 7.5 out and go with a 8.8 with 3.73's or 4.10's. I picked up a nice 8.8 yesterday for $40. I'm going the carb route, I'm sick of all the wires under the hood. If you can swing it toss that k-member, and go with a tubular-coilover setup. That stock k-member weights a ton.
