Default 95 Lightning 351 GT40 Heads

I may have asked a question about these before but I dont remember.

Anyways Ive decided to keep these heads and am going to throw them on the car however I have a few questions. I know I need stepped head bolts. Also would it be worth it to port them at all? I dont really want to get too crazy as Im not quite sure what im doing so I was thinking of just polishing them a bit to get rid of the casting flash, maybe port the exhuast ports a bit. Im not out to make huge power but if im going to do it I may as well ask. Also will normal 302 head gaskets work or do i need special ones? I have a set of Fel Pro 8548 Head Gaskets and I was wondering if they would work. Though since I am going to be replacing everything in the top end I wonder if it would be better just to buy a kit for that, though that hinges on what kind of head gaskets will work.

Also I have heard that 351 heads on early block 302's had an overheating problem that had to be fixed by drilling different coolant passages in the block. Is this a problem on the newer blocks? I have been told these heads have a 64cc combustion chamber and these will be going on a rebuilt shortblock with stock pistons so what will my compression ratio be and should I be concerned about it?

Thanks
