I got the Ford Racing Clutch kit new from Summitracing.com. Is there any way to find out if these parts are defective or not, with out buying new ones?
Yeah, pay someone to put it on a balancing machine. Seriously, I'd look at your flywheel. If your pressure plate is brand new and it fit the flywheel dowels good, then it is probably not the culprit. The reason I would suspect the flywheel is because everything was fine until this swap. I know this is a lot of work, but you could take your tranny out and put the automatic flywheel back on and put the bell housing from the t5 on and put the starter on. Then see if she vibrates. I have never put an automatic flywheel on with manual tranny bellhousing, I am assuming this will work ok. The only other way is to send your flywheel off to have it checked out. Since you are in Iceland, this may be more trouble than it seems to me. BTW, does the vibration intensify or dull throughout the rpm range or does it stay the same?
