This generally is a worthwhile operation for carbs - but who is going to do it for $55 bucks?

I do um and there is no way I could do one that cheep and make any money on the rebuild, let alone the labor involved, much less the parts, shipping etc.

I know other carb companies and they won't touch that operation for less than $125 labor plus parts.

Does the carb have holes in the butterflies?
This is almost imperitive if you have a bumpy idleing cam that has to idle above 1000 RPM. Otherwise the idle speed adjustment screw is open too far and that creates a draw on the boosters and your way rich. Then some guys try to adjust the rear throttle blade and get it too far open and then the transfer doesn't work correctly.

But converting your existing carb over is less expensive than buying a new one even if you have a Professional Carb Shop do it for you.
