I just keep getting happier and happier with the way my car runs! I went to the track for the last time this year on thursday, and I ran a new best. The air was great, and although the temps were really cold, I was still able to hook up somewhat! My car is a 95GT convertible that weighs
3700lbs with me. Stock it ran a 15.2 at 90mph. Now, on all motor with a 100% stock bottom end with 60K miles on it I ran a:
12.85 at 106.96mph with a 1.89 60'
I can't wait to get it dyno'd. I should be over 300RWHP now, but I want dyno numbers to prove it, not just a guess based on my weight and trap speed. My combo isn't anything outstanding or exotic, but it seems I picked it right with the help of Ed Curtis of FTI. My original goal was to trap 105mph, but now I want 108! I guess its the HP disease, we're never happy. I should be though because I gained 8.41mph with just heads, cam, MAF, injectors, and a fuel pump! What do you all think?
