Did you plug the brake lines as soon as you disconnected them from the calipers? If not, you probably allowed air to enter the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit), which is part of the ABS system. If this is what happened, call a tow truck and take it to Ford. You won't be able to bleed the HCU. If you did plug the lines the second you disconnected them, and are sure no air entered the lines, then continue to bleed the brakes until clean brake fluid comes out, at which point the pedal should get firm. If it doesn't, you got air into the HCU, and it's off to Ford you go.
