275s are approx. 11"s. You probably have 8" draglites, thats what most people have. I have 265s on my draglites, 275s will fit but I've heard you need to roll the inner fender lip. Hmm.. what backspacing do you have(if you know)?
You can go to tirerack and they give specs on the tires, but I can tell you that you may have a problem getting those 275/50/16s to hold any air pressure on
those rims
